Ned has served in the technical theatre as a technician, manager, technical director, equipment/system inventor, manufacturer, designer and consultant. In addition he has served as set and lighting designer for over 125 stage productions including industrial shows for such clients as: International Harvester, EXXON, J. C. Penney, IBM, DELCO, Toyota, and Cadillac.

Jim has been a Consultant in Architectural lighting since 1957. Jim's efforts may be seen around the United States, Canada and Saudia Arabia on over 900 projects. His ability to light spaces functionally but with artistic drama with a surprising minimum of luminaires is well recognized. In addition, Jim has designed some of the most spectacular fountains in the United States and Saudia Arabia.

Jim has been in practice as a Consulting engineer specializing in architectural acoustics, industrial noise measurement and control, and environmental noise since 1985. He is a licensed professional engineer in both Missouri and Oregon.
